Office Overview

The Office of Internal Relations focuses on strengthening communication between the Federation and its member university unions, maintaining direct and continuous contact through each union's Contact Person. The office also works on reaching out to non-member university unions and supporting their development into active members, while keeping in touch Members and Alumni. It serves as the main link connecting the Federation's internal student structure together.

To build strong, sustainable relationships with university unions, expand the Federation's membership base, and maintain ongoing contact with Members and Alumni.

Strategic Objectives

Maintain regular and effective communication with all member university unions through their Contact Persons.
Reach out to non-member university unions and support their development into active members.
Continuously update the database of member university unions.
Support member university unions that need assistance to maintain their membership.
Maintain ongoing relationships with Members and Alumni.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

1Regularly communicating with Contact Persons of university unions to follow up on their status and needs.
2Keeping the university unions' contact list updated and informing the Executive Committee of any changes.
3Organising the Contact Persons' meeting at the General Congress or other major events.
4Developing and running an outreach programme to introduce the Federation to non-member university unions and encourage them to join.
5Coordinating Individual Membership and affiliation procedures with the Treasurer.
6Coordinating members' event registration with the organising committees.
7Maintaining ongoing contact with Members and Alumni.
8Overseeing the work of the Event Manager and reviewing their reports.
